Dental Prosthetist

What can a dental prosthetist offer?

Dental technicians are highly trained and skilled individuals who manufacture dental prosthetics. Through further study dental technicians are able to qualify as dental prosthetists. A dental prosthetist is qualified to consult directly with clients about all their dental prosthetic needs.

Every individual mouth is different and hence every denture requires careful consideration to provide optimum fit, comfort and aesthetics. Understanding both the patient’s requirements and the manufacturing process puts the dental prosthetist in a unique position to offer optimum advice and guidance to the patient in relation to materials, design and budget.
